I wonder what we can draw from this. I rarely agree with Suppanter, I almost never have any idea what Marko is talking about, I can't stand Hooksaw, and frankly (no offense) I don't know who bcvaugha is.

I know I've seen IMStoned post but I get him confused with other screen-names that have pot references.

Interesting, though, the relatively high concentration of libertarian-minded people in the INTJ category.

Yeah, a voluntary response to a convenience sample of people, who rather than being random, mostly share connections to a certain physical location, certain education at a particular school, and who all are inclined to use a particular message board and participate in a particular section, makes this sample biased as hell, so there is no way to compare this to the general population. But it does make for an interesting breakdown of whats going on in this corner of Tdub.

If someone else wants to, they are welcome to. But it may be that Introverts are likely to put off signing up longer than Extroverts, so taking number of years into account might lose that aspect. But I'm not making any claims off of any of this, it is all just for fun, and nothing serious. The only claim I would make based off this data is that the SoapBox here on Tdub is populated mostly by Introspectives.

Now for something even less tangible & more crazy. Using Matt's thread asking people to self identify as left leaning or right leaning, I've written the net for each category for which data was available. Because being a leftie is clearly a good thing, and being a rightie is a bad thing, I've decided that left will be represented by positive numbers and the right by negative numbers.

Based on my highly accurate sciencing, finding a libertarian in an E row isn't the slightest bit surprising, in fact is predicted. I've used these numbers to come up with an algorithm, by which I mean nothing at all, to predict that 51% or more of all variations on right wing (including libertarians) will be E's and 51% or more of all variations on left wing will be I's.

its not really odd. Questions change, your oppinions change, the way you feel right when you take the test changes. I mean like I said when i took it, I was INTP, fixed one question and then I was INTJ. My J score was a 1 too. Other times i've been pretty far into the J camp.

The test is not a way to permanently catagorize everyone into a guaranteed personality type, its a way to get a quick, and basic understanding of someones type. As long as the test is answered truthfully its a useful tool.
