I'm glad I'm not combining my income w/my ex anymore. He thought it was a smart idea to spend 2500 to 3500 per month on rent. That's just silly around here and in this economy--especially when you could put the money toward a down payment on a house. 2 people do not need a 4000 square foot house, even if their combined income can afford it.

Back around x-mas time, I had x-mas lights doing a 360 around the place, on every wall. From strand to strand the type would change, and often it was just put on top of what ever was there to hold it up so the heights where uneven and changing all the way around. Tacky as hell, but looked great with the overhead lights off.

my place is weirdly embarrassing on the decor front, a hodgepodge of really nice things and college things i havent replaced

62" tv sittin on a boboass wal-mart shelving unit.. but the storage is the jam

$4k bedroom set, unpainted bedroom walls because two years later, i still havent decided
