yes. it's weird. some days i feel awesome like forrest gump and other days i just feel like shit and can barely get out a few miles. no correlation to drinking, eating, sleeping, etc. that i can tell.

Doing alright.

I'd say yes to the date, but I've quit drinking til the marathon (part of my training) so I doubt you will get lucky.

Furthermore, yes, the marathon training continues. Did a half marathon today but it was a little rough...a verrrrry hilly course.

btw, I was totally in the dark about this. But apparently comedy central picked up new episodes? I thought the movies were it. But nooooooo.... I turned on the TV the other day randomly, and it was a new (to me) episode.

yeah they picked up the new seasons as of last fall.

i've resisted seeing them for several reasons, the main one being that i no longer have cable and therefore just can't really watch.

but! netflix seems really good about keeping up with the Futurama so I'm hopeful that when the season officially ends (may have already occured) and it comes out on DVD that it will pop up on there soon after and I will be back on track.


also...mmmmmmmmmm calzone.

New guy on the team that I have the responsibility of mentoring
Long hours during the day, and short nights
My left buttcheek has started to itch at 2:00PM on the dot... every day
Customer meetings coming up that I have to prepare for
All of this on top of the other engineering work.

Ah, well all of that sucks and will hopefully get better soon!

Marathon 2010: Went great - I lived! It ended up being super hot that day and somewhere between mile 16 and 17 I quit sweating. Fortunately living in the south I new all the great signs of dehydration and was able to slow down, continually dump water on myself, run through hoses, etc. and keep myself going. My time was terrible, but hey that just gives me a bit easier go of it beating my own time this year...and yes, just Tuesday I registered for the Chicago 2011 Marathon.

In the meantime, later this month I'm doing the Hustle Up the Hancock and over the summer I am trying something called the Warrior Dash (3.28 miles, but with 10 insane obstacles + mud + beer + wearing a viking helmet).

haha, saying that kind of stuff to me is dangerous. a friend of ours from NZ once told us if we were ever there to look him up and come stay with him. sure enough, 2 years later I did. I think he was completely shocked and confused.

I travel a fair amount for school lately so there is always a chance....and the more I think about it, I applied for a grant that I believe will require me to go to DC...
