I guess the difference is - if I did something so void of logic, something that was a "lack of judgement" - I would:

a) Not post it on chit chit
b) Not tell people I had a taped window
c) not offer a reward

I'm sorry i missed this thread when it still was relevant.

But I just want to note this. You live at Bell & Elliot on the sketch edge of the Belltown/Waterfront area of Seattle. I used to ride my bike by there every morning, probably rode right by there the morning you posted this.

every morning, at 6:30 am, there is always a crowd of transients and junkies loitering on the corner of Bell and Western, one block over. nasty bitches look like they got every disease in the world will probably give you a blow job for $10.

first, i can't imagine why anyone would want to live in that immediate area.

but i really cant imagine why anyone would think their car is safe there.

and i really really really cant imagine why anyone would continue to leave valuables in their car, especially after repeated break-ins to the point that you still have tape and plastic over one of your broken windows.

Noen, you've lived in seattle long enough to know better. this is not your parents' cul-de-sac in Cary. Regardless, I am sorry for your loss. What a bunch of punks. If i was the one ganking your shit, i would have damn sure left the notebooks

So, did you ever check the pawnshops? the junkies around that area arent' real smart, i'm sure they didnt go far.
