I've done the long commute thing before. Never again. What an incredible waste of time.

Go to the deck party on Fridays at the Hilton
Go to the Baker's Square for your hungover breakfast.

The bars suck, the only bars I went to more than once was Mesh and the Harvey Mansion. Depending on where you live, you can be at Atlantic Beach within an hour.

Good luck, I just left New Bern for Morehead.

I have a house in New Bern, but I'll be in the middle east until the fall.

i am from new bern.

it's a great place to grow up and great place to have a family.

i plan to move back one day, but i wouldn't even consider living there while still in my 20s.

river and beach during the summer FTW though.
