i knew him, he lived in Becton over on east campus (at least i think it was becton, or bagwell) he was lucky as fuck, all it did was some very minor tissue damage, you couldn't even tell he'd been shot, just looked like a dude with a sling and some stitches...

I remember that, too. It was a .22, and he pretty much came out just fine. I think his name was Rob...I remember he liked hockey. Can't think of where I knew him from, though.

the guy that got shot at the bookstore, a year or so later, he was in one of my classes....had no clue it was him until he told us about it one day in class (never found the person at least at that time been awhile). I am pretty sure he said the bullet is next to his spine and could not be removed.

Do you mean the parking lot in between Tompkins and Peele? That was the site of the original Pullen Hall, which was burned by a student arsonist in 1966, but no one was killed.

I've never heard of a fire on the site of the new/current Pullen Hall's parking lot, mainly because I don't think there was ever a building there. Not an NCSU building, anyway.

Not Gonzalez--he did pass away, but not on campus. It was another professor whose name I forget. Perhaps Google can be of assistance.

Theres been 3 deaths in recent years of heart attacks in the gym I know of. Im not sure of years, but I know theres been 2 since Ive been here (since 05).

Professor of mine in I think 2002 died at Broughton in his office late one evening. Got to class the next morning to be told by the school's dean.

No one died in the Pullen Hall fire of 1966.

Some dude shot himself in the head in Fall of 1993 sitting under one of those big trees in front of DH Hill at lunch one day. Didn't die right away, but died later that night at the hospital.

Watched the dude jump off Sullivan in 1997. Dude hit the ground, bounced, took three steps, then dropped dead.

My RA died over labor day weekend in Fall 2003. He has some unknown heart defect or something and died in the shower. But it happened at his home, not on campus.
