Don't even joke about that.

^^

I was at that show as well, and it was the second loudest show I've ever been to. The loudest I ever attended was Helmet with White Zombie in 1995. I remember Paige Hamilton on stage asking the sound techs to increase the volume stating "These people want to bleed"

Interesting. You're probably the only person who bought that album for a specific song when the song wasn't 'Today'.
Congrats.

haha i did this as well. took me a long time to fully appreciate the awesomeness that is that album

also some that i can think of off the top of my head..

Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine for the song Closing Time. It's probably one of my favorite albums today and gets a ton of play on my iPod when i need something that's just easy to listen to.

Verve Pipe - Villains for the song Freshman. To this day i don't think I listened to the entire album more than once.

Cake - Fashion Nugget for The Distance. Another album that took me a few years of music maturation to fully enjoy and respect.

The cake album was Fashion Nugget. That came out my freshman year of college. I also bought it mainly for The Distance, but definitely loved the entire album after the first listen. That may be the last time that happened.
