Yeah, I don't think it really matters who has the club, it's a shitty area and there will be violence. Still, it sucks massive balls that they're revoking his liquor license because this clientele is mostly gang members and lowlifes.

if he really cared he would have set standards (cover, clothing, etc) to eliminate after the first warning. im sure there are creative ways to eliminate the rif raf.

Again, this has nothing to do with the club itself or its management or its safety/security procedures.

The ABC commission decided that the area itself is simply too violent to allow a nightclub to sell alcohol there.

Listen, I've seen that place go through three owners and two at the place on Atlantic. It attracts the bad element of Raleigh. Dudes specifically go to these places looking for trouble. That's why I don't hang there and neither should anyone who wants a decent night out.

Once people realize that, it'll be just thugs and dumbasses playing pocket pool while giving each other dirty looks. There they can stay, so I don't catch a stray bullet to my noodle while walking down fayetteville st.

I remember when it was Black Ties and they had champagne and chicken wing specials on Wednesdays or something. I tried to get kiljadn to take me there, but he was like "hellllllllll no" and their radio advertisement always said 18 to dip, 21 to sip

And before that it was a steak house.

If there were any justice in this world, the owners could sue the fucking pants off Raleigh for even trying to shut them down.
A club is NOT responsible for the actions of individual patrons.

i never go to clubs because they do not interest me, therefore i do not care when they inevitably fail

shitty clubs in shitty areas attract shitty customers...the area in particular and the city in general are better off without them
