^^^I ended up going there. Doctor is very nice and is old-school, just how I prefer. The office was small--also how I like.

Funny you say about VW. I saw an insect running across the floor and said "hey, there's a beetle on your floor, you want me to crush it or toss it outside?" The nurse was pretty surprised at first and then explained that she had a Vw beetle lol.

She's also from Argentina, which is awesome since I had family from there. Hoping I can get the hookups on some alfajores

^^Cool. Huge practice, but I wouldn't have to see it. Then again, as much as I hate driving, I hate cleaning even more.

The Doctors that end up doing this almost never take insurance. They're able to make money for this reason and this reason alone. It is not financially viable to run a practice where you have a single doctor who sees you for extended periods of time with insurance reimbursement rates. Plus you save on office staff handling insurance and the shitloads of time every doctor has to spend on paperwork purely for insurance reimbursement related reasons.

^That end up doing what? Single-practice or home visits? Because outside of Raleigh (or perhaps outside of larger cities in NC?) the former seems to be pretty common.
