^^ Not yet Turns out you have very little time to do video editing when you live in the forest.

But we planted a garden! hauling 20 gal of water 2x a day really makes you appreciate plumbing. We're thinking of tapping into a little spring above us to irrigate. The chickens are coming out this week, and we've been eating trout and forest goodies for the past month (fiddle heads, milkweed, morels, cattails, spring beauty, rabbit). We've seen some cougar tracks on the beach, which is a little concerning, so we're pissing everywhere around camp.

^ Burn ban started officially last week, so no more campfire cooking. We upgraded to a 2 burner cast iron propane stove. Going to try canning some of the wild foods, and it won't be long before we start a batch of berry wine.

We took videos, but never edited them. I'm not promising any more blogs in the future, it seems like I've failed to fulfill that promise on at least 3 occasions for you folks.

But anyway, the point of the BTT. Summer is coming around and we are thinking about what we might do this year. Our group has grown and now there are 15 people who want the experience that we had last summer. This will obviously change things, but it will be an interesting experience in other ways.

Now that we have a recommendation from the lumber company last year, I think it will be fairly easy to find a plot of land that can fit all of us. More to follow.

Yes - I think we're starting a commune. But one where we all have jobs and enjoy showers.
