3yr old neutered male Bull Terrier. UTD on vaccines, micro-chipped, Heart Worm neg and on preventative. Active and energetic. Will need a home that is willing to continue teaching him his manners. Nelson learned to sit in a very short period of time, he is smart and very willing to learn.

Ibby is a 5yr old female bull terrier needing a forever home. Ibby came into rescue emaciated and Heart Worm positive. She is now HW neg, UTD on all vaccines, dewormed, spayed. She will do fine with a submissive dog. No cats! She loves kids...

Also, here is a link to donate to this rescue organization as well.

Spencer is in need of his forever home. Spencer was very skinny when he came into rescue, he has gained almost all of his weight. He is a young boy of 2yrs. Likes some dogs and has a wonderful disposition, very sweet boy. Beautiful coloring!

Stan is a big boy, almost 70lbs! Stan has a very outgoing personality and very happy. He enjoys a good Kong wubba. When Stan came into rescue he was emaciated and missing most of his hair due to skin dermatitis that had been left untreated. Stan is now a healthy happy boy and ready for his forever home.

Bubba is a short stocky boy 2yrs old, dog friendly and laid back.

Bree is still looking for her forever home. Bree is a smaller 3yr old bullie that is sweet sweet sweet! She loves attention and is quite a snuggler.

Nelson is looking for his forever home. Nelson is very athletic and would be a great walking/jogging companion for someone. Nelson is around 2yrs old, he is a quite dog and can play a bit rough at times. Will need an owner that will continue to teach him his manners.

Young female BT needing a new home. Jordan is on the smaller size.

Here is Cotton from Chipley Fl. She was part of a hoarder situation. Has lived outside and been used as a breeder.

Baggins. Baggins is 15mth old a youngster that lacks confidence. Baggins has never lived indoors. Normal household noises scare him and he is afraid to walk on vinyl flooring. Baggins will just need some time and patience to over come his fears. He is a very sweet boy that has been living with small dogs. Baggins would do best with another dog to help teach him the ropes.

Hey all, doing some research on breeds. Plan on adopting after I get married in October and want to make sure I do all my homework. A BT is currently in the top 5 list of our breeds but I've got a question I couldn't find an answer to. It seems that in most breeds females tend to be more submissive than males, is that not the case with BTs? Or is it just a matter of environment and pedigree? Sorry if this is a stupid question, my fiancee has always had a dog but this will be my first!

I can't speak to that, since my bully is a male. I think environment and how they were raised will likely mean more in the end than sex. If you're doing your research then I'm sure you're aware that they can be stubborn dogs. My dog, Harley, behaves very well but every now and again he'll challenge me (like not staying when told to stay, etc...) but it is hardly an issue. I got him when he was already 4 years old so I didn't have to deal with teaching him the basics, but I've had him for 8 or so months by now and he hasn't chewed a single thing and he's only pissed in the house once (I had been gone all day and I forgot to let him out in the morning, and he was at least courteous enough to do it in the shower). He's an absolute whore when it comes to attention from people. The only thing I would change, and I've been working with him on it, is his socialization with other dogs. He doesn't like them, but a few trips to the park with my friend and her pit and he made HUGE strides. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

Perhaps I got lucky by getting a chill bully, but I absolutely love the breed and would recommend them to anyone who knows what they're getting into.

^I completely agree. I'ne had my BT Grendel for about 1.5 years now and I love him to death. He does challenge me from time to time, but a quick submission session and he is right as rain. He loves any and all people and just wants to be petted constantly and sit on there feet. He wasn't socialized with other dogs and I've been working with him on that. He actual played around and ran with a little mini-schnauzer the other day.

I think each dog should be taken on a case by case basis, but in general these dogs are VERY affectionate and playful, but can be stubborn. Also, females are typically significntly smaller than males. These are extremely strong animals.

Also, it is important to note that these dogs really need to be inside dogs. They are sensitive to extreme heat and cold (like we can have here in NC). Their coat is pretty thick, but there is no undercoat, so they can get cold pretty quick.

Six more bull terriers were taken into the rescue I keep tabs on. They are now full to capacity and need to adopt out some doggies asap so that no bullies will be turned away. Here are a few that are ready for adoption. Please help, these are awesome dogs.

Meet Vinnie! Currently available for adoption. Brindle male about 45 lbs. Very sweet guy!

This is Maya. She is a mini-BT. She is looking for a new home and family to love.

This is Molly and she is also looking for her forever home.

Well mannered Vinnie is still looking for his forever home. House broken, crate trained, walks well on lead. 100% vetted.

18mth old female bullie looking for her forever home. Dog friendly! House broken, crate trained, walks well on lead, UTD on vaccines, HW negative and on preventative, spayed.

Brian is ready for a home. He is healthy and happy. Will be best in a low keyed home, no small children. Brian is a very special boy that will require a special home. Requirements for Brian will be that he is an only pet where he can receive 100% of his owners attention. Due to his history he deserves to be the main attraction. Brian loves attention and his Kong Wubba!! He walks well on leash, crate trained. Will need a home that is willing to continue his training. He is still learning what it is like to be a house dog.

Any puppies available? I would be interested.

Hesitant about adopting a dog that is a couple years old. My brother-in-law just had half his ear bitten off by a 3 year old terrier mix they rescued. They had to put the dog down and he has to get plastic surgery.

^Puppies are usually pretty hard to come by and they go FAST, but this group vets the dogs and adopters very thuroughly. They let you know exactly what type of personality each dog has and whether you would be a good fit. Just ask myself or Ronny, we both adopted from Recycla-bull Rescue. They are good people.

It looks like they are packed with adoptable bullies:
http://www.rcbtr.org/available-recycled-bull-terriers.html

If you have any questions, I would be glad to help any way I can. I love these dogs and I want to get them into good homws for a second chance. Most of these guys would be euthanized if it wasn'y for Recycla-bull. Mine was only a day away and he's the sweetest pup ever.

Yeah, I was given a heads up on the kind of dog he was and he experiences with him, his history, etc. I felt pretty comfortable that I knew what I was getting into, and I haven't had any surprises really. The woman cares A LOT about the dogs and she would not hesitate to deny the shit out of your adoption request if she wasn't confident it would be a good situation.

Of course puppies are adorable and all, but being a first time dog owner I am EXTREMELY glad I got one that was 4 years old. He was house trained, doesn't chew, listens well (relatively speaking for a silly and stubborn breed) and I didn't have to deal with any of that, which was awesome.
