dude Fermat you're ignoring the fact that Opiates are Schedule II drugs, and the second guy was in possession of them. His bond wasn't set that high because of the attempt at obtaining prescription drugs, it was because of the illegal drugs he had.


And yes, it is fucked up, but that's what the federal government mandates in its terribly misguided war on drugs.
