I was excited so I stopped to see if they were on the shelf yet at the Teeter. They were not.
However, I did find out that you can buy two packaged hard boiled eggs for $0.99 in the deli section. 6/29/2010 9:40:15 PM |

I no shit saw this happen once, at the Krispy Kreme in Winston. This huge [ HUGE ] woman pressed against the observation glass, watching cholesterol wonders stream by in front of her. Then, with wonder in her voice, she said "They're so beautiful...."
Choked on my milk I, too, cried a little.6/30/2010 2:41:38 PM |

I'm in the beach body thread too and I plan on trying one. It's not like you have to eat ALL clean ALL the time to see results as long as you're honest with what you're eating and don't eat six of them and then "forget" about it and fail to work it into your overall plan. 6/30/2010 2:56:46 PM |

they were on display at HT last night around 10pm. i wanted to just get one, but i had to get a 6pk
the filling tastes like flat Cheerwine soda. like you poured the soda in a glass, it foamed up, and you took a spoonful of the foam and ate it.
the donuts are too dry for my liking. i prefer the glazed donuts.
overall, i give them a 6 out of 10.
i brought the 5 leftover donuts to work today and they were gone before 11am

Once they cool, they stiffen up a little and just became a cold, slightly tough, yeast-raised doughnut. The point of Krispy Kremes was that freshness, being able to get them right after they went through the shower of hot sugar. " |
Yep. The original glazed hot off the press is the only doughnut I like at KK.
Now if I could get one of these hot I'd try it for sure.7/1/2010 11:32:49 AM |

Wait, wait, wait...
Does KK not glaze their filled donuts or something? What the fuck are they thinking?
Or did they just not glaze these?
Regardless, there was a mistake made. Any unglazed donut is an abomination. (unless there is powdered sugar involved)

^if the donut is iced, then it is not glazed. at least I think that's the rule. because the lemon-filled have no icing and are glazed. those are my fave 7/3/2010 4:15:54 PM |

hey, wolfpackgrrr, do they not have KK in Japan? Yes, of course, that would mean they won't have this particular variety, but the thought just occurred to me to ask.
and I'm too lazy to check their webpage
we have a few here in Korea, including a store in Daegu. They always give you a free donut hot off the line when you come in. Always. That machine is never turned off, I swear.

there's nothing to argue about. there's no cola flavor in cheerwine. it's just carbonated cherry. cola is like coke/pepsi flavor. these are facts.7/4/2010 10:24:53 AM |

^I never saw a KK in japan...granted I was living in a small town. I did ,however, spend a long ass time in Tokyo while I was there.
I don't know for sure, but I don't think they do.
Trust me on this though, if there are any in Japan they already have much stranger flavored doughnuts than some silly cheerwine. 7/4/2010 10:25:44 AM |
