Yeah, i actually had a scheduled appointment with the locksmith for this morning to re-key all the locks but decided to cancel after talking with the sheriff

This guy claimed that legally he had two weeks, and I said that legally he should've stayed the fuck out of my room and kept his mitts off my old credit and business cards.

After learning it could be a 30-60 day eviction process through the courts, I figured I'd take his 2 week claim and bargain from there....so two weeks would be the max but I think its possible that I can get him out in a week or less if I play my cards right.

And yep, I just got a schlage lock I had laying around re-keyed for VIP entry to my room, where I can stash some of my valuables in case he tries make a run for it with my stuff. And also I won't have to worry about him sneaking in to watch me sleep

press charges while he's away, don't be home when he gets served the summons, tell him you'll drop charges when he has completely moved out, otherwise be prepared to be treated as an adult...in court.

I think that might be the play here. The sketchiest part is that I realized my passport is MIA, but he claimed adamantly that hes never seen it. Have to call the passport office tomorrow (is there such a place?)

**Also please note that if I never return to TWW, it's not because I don't love you all, it's most likely because this thread was discovered by the creeper, and I was meat cleavered in my sleep.

It sounds like if you were accepting rent payments from him, AND he was getting mail there, AND YOU allowed him to live there. HE IS A RESIDENT!

You have to go through eviction proceedings if you want to to this legally. There is a thing called cash-for-keys a lot of landlords do to get shitty tenants out without going to court. Basically, you pay them a cash payment to hand over the keys and move out within a much shorter period of time, they have to leave the property clean and not dick you over in any other way. The cash for keys agreement says they are relinquishing rights to reside in the property on the date it was signed so the cops can keep them from getting back in.

FREEEEEEEEEEEE AT LAST

I managed to make it out alive, collect monies owed, and get this guy out the door and on his way in about 2.5 weeks, without having to go through the formal eviction process or getting the cops involved.

Maybe the longest 2.5 weeks of my life, but at least it's done and it seems things ended on a positive enough note to keep him from creeping around my woods at night. Good night sweet prince.

maybe he was creepy, or maybe he wasnt. we've only heard one side of the story but sounds to me like you're just another flaky dumb bunny, self-promoting some needy drama. girl, you haven't even seen a difficult roommate. i'll bet it was you giving off mixed flirty signals is what caused this to go south in the first place.

I wish i had an exceptional story to tell of faking the sale of my house to get him to go, etc. but none of that turned out to be necessary.

He was under the impression that he was allowed 2 weeks by law, so I more or less took that and ran with it but tried to take away any reason he had to be there / any means of entertainment, in hopes of getting him to move along sooner. Cut cable, internet, xbox360

A bit of psychological warfare. Basically would not even speak to him / interact unless coming or going...and as someone with not many friends, i don't think he wanted to burn another bridge.

So basically he could sit on the couch and stare at the wall or gtfo. Tried to get him to go to a psych evaluation which he obviously declined. But hey at least i tried. He said he'd spoken to a psychiatrist before but "they didn't understand him"


Never in my life have I fist pumped more intensely as when this fuck walked out the door and drove off in the moving truck. And never have i found so much pleasure in drinking beers by myself on the couch



^Hahah go choke on a dick joe. Spend 5 minutes with this guy and you'd be singing a different tune, but that is not the point here. The point is that it's done, and I did not have to wait 30 days for Wake County to evict or have RPD carry this guy out in a body bag after creeping into my room in the middle of the night.

FWIW he's got restraining orders at ALL of the branches of a certain restaurant in the triangle
