No. A book without a front cover is either stolen or has been pulled out of a dumpster, meaning a used book store wouldn't take it in the first place.

I know so many people like that . Especially sucks when they are old friends.

Meanwhile, they get a new iphone out of contract, pay for a $3 coffee every morning, spend $50 at the bar regularly on weeknights, chain smoke, shop at Urban Outfitters etc. and then wonder why they are always broke and think that the only reason I'm not is because I work an "office job."

Sometimes I want to smack them over the head but it's just not worth it. It sucks that with the few friends I have like that, I don't even feel like I can "help" them without causing some rift in our friendship so I just let it slide while mentally facepalming.

oh trust me I know that man. I was just saying I know some specific people like that who just get caught up focusing on and spending all their money on the wrong stuff. You can find those people in any crowd or any social circle; I just happy to be around more "artsy" people (mainly musicians in my case) due to my lifestyle and activities. It's just unfortunate with some of them, but I guess if that's what makes them happy then I shouldn't judge. When they post a status update about their power getting cut off 1 week after an update about their purchase of probably >$100 worth of vinyl I can't help but shake my head though.

I like nice things, but I just can't willingly pay $30/month for a data plan. I don't even have texting today.
