i had an old dude below that would complain about me walkin around


he knocked on my door one time and tried to get in my face about it, askin me what i was doin to have to be walkin around all night

i was like "dude you live in the middle floor, im payin the same rent you are why the fuck do i gotta tip toe around according to your schedule? Do you wanna pay a portion of my rent? you are 70 years old why the hell are you still in an apartment anyway?"

then he goes off on me about how hes done more for the black race than I ever will or some shit and I shouldnt be talkin to an elder like that.

i was basically like i dont give a fuck about that shit plus you dont know what I do or dont do.

I didnt cuss at him though like i typed out here, i did give him that respect as my elder, and i normally wouldnt have argued with him like that but this was like the 4th or 5th time he came knockin on my door after i basically walked from the kichen at like 11

but anyway he moved to a different building a few months later after he kept spamming the office with complaints

im not trying to act like i "PWND HIM OMG" or anything, but god damn i shouldnt have to creep around in an apt I am paying rent to live in, unless he wants to pay a portion of my rent.

Take a dump. Spoon 1/4 of it in a sock and hang it on their doorknob...put the other 3/4 of it under their front door mat.

They will see the sock shit and be pissed, but this will distract them from the mat shit. It will start to smell and they won't figure it out for days if not weeks.

I would have been a little more pissed about it, but turns out she is also super hot so I said I would try my best to at least attempt to walk about a bit less loudly, which I have attempted to do. Should she come complain again I'll simply go with the.. well when you get rid of your little yapping dog that I can hear all the time then Ill think about walking more softly (the dog does yap all the time but doesnt in reality bother me).

As you said there is a reason I got an apt on the top floor. Sure I have to move all my shit up an extra flight of stairs but I also have no one above me to have to worry about, if that sorta thing annoys you that much you should think about that when selecting where you are gonna live.

In the same apartment as Fareako, our downstair hipster/emo neighbors tried to play their bass loud one day. We cranked up my system with death/black/w/e metal and we saw them leave the building like 5 minutes later

I was a neighbor who probably annoyed my neighbors when I lived in an apt.

I have big stereo speakers and play amplified instruments.

this didn't go over well.

but I was never a dick about it if people asked me politely to turn it down and usually just turned shit off at that point. one time when I was living with Agent 0, some bitch knocked on the door and just fucking started screaming at me. This was the first time she had ever complained about the noise, and since she was such a bitch about it, I told her to call the cops (this was at like 2 in the afternoon on a saturday). Then I cranked the shit even louder and went across the street to my gf's pad.

unfortunately the story ends there. nothing really happened beyond me going back eventually and turning it off.
