Another whiny bitchy threads about some change that someone doesn't like because it's different, even if it is better and more usable. Oh well, bitches will always be bitches.

^^ Yeah. I hate removing clutter and reducing clicks and speeding up my search too. It's just makes too much sense. It baffles my mind that they would use a good design with the implementations that are available in modern browsers. Stupid Google. Always making shit better.

I personally enjoy the listing of the domain name, dimensions, and filetype with every image

and because Google enjoys keeping Opera from the "latest and greatest" versions of its products, I still see the classic image search; hell I even saw the classic Web search long after IE and Firefox were switched to the new interface, and it was awesome

...This change has both added clutter (how is a grid view more cluttered than the new "OH GOD FILL THE SCREEN WITH IMAGES" approach?) and increased the number of clicks it takes to reach the desired webpage.

...so I suppose you weren't being sarcastic and those are actually the reasons you like it.

Like I said, I use google image search for a lot of shit. This has greatly disturbed my regular internet usage.

Also, I'm just baffled at how people think this mess looks good. I can understand a "more images = more functionality" argument, but it's taken one of the simplest and better-looking pages on the internet and made it one of the most messy and terrible-looking.

I'd rather read something formatted like the fucking timecube website than try to find something in the collage that is the new images layout.

Uhhh... the grid view DOES fill the fucking screen WITH IMAGES! It removes the resolution and website URL from underneath all of the pictures, unless you put your mouse over it.

And it hasn't increased the number of clicks it takes to reach the webpage... Click the picture, it loads the webpage with the picture in the center as a "pop-out." Click the X or just click anywhere but on the picture and you're at the webpage.

Google though, has decreased the number of clicks it takes to browse through the pictures. All you have to do is just keep scrolling and it loads more pictures. I know that sounds difficult, but it really is quite easy.

So again, you're just bitching to bitch. Get over it and shut the fuck up.
