real talk, I fucked my girlfriend 3 times yesterday, I worked, and had band practice - the 1st of 4 this week. my insomnia kept me up late enough to start this thread unfortunately, but I am really close to just getting some sleeping aids, so I can do all the stuff I have to do every week, 3 bands, full time job, chores, errands, time for friends, more time for my woman, weekly dinners with my brother and his woman, being an active part of my neighborhood, tending my garden, teaching guitar lessons, etc. I don't say all this in defense of myself being accused of having no life, I am telling you all this in the hopes that what I do is of interest to others, maybe some of you might actually want to do something productive, like come over and make music, or meet up on XBLive and game with me, maybe someone here needs music tutoring of some sort (i sing, play bass, guitar, and drums pretty well, with good gear). Anyone can copy paste a link and call it threadworthy, but it takes real courage and commitment to meet and stay friends with internet personas IRL...for example, ReceiveDeath aka BubbleBobble is one of the most awesome, caring human beings on tww, but none of you would ever know that...John Thomas is a good friend of mine, we live pretty far from each other but he knows if he needs me, I'll be there for him, and vice versa. I know there are a few other exceptional people here that are long term dear friends/got married/live together now or in the past, but I wonder how many people can say the same about other twwers, that you'd go out of your way to help someone you met here...that you have invested enough of your personal time in someone else here that you'd help them with a flat tire, or help someone move to a new apt, etc. without expecting money in return.

EDIT: this may shock some people and derail the thread a bit, but I wanted to post my opinion of another twwer - drunknloaded is, admittedly, the shitstain of tww, no argument there, but IRL he is busting his ass to accomplish his goals. I have hung out with him 3 times in as many months, and even though we had words in the past, we are able to move past that. He credits me and a few others for keeping his head above water when everyone else was like, "fuck that guy". Josh Marcero is a good dude these days, I'm glad to have him in my life. I helped him move, paid him to help me around the house when he was poor, picked him up from the hospital after his wreck a few years ago, let him stay the night, then took him to his car at the yard in the rain and helped him get his stuff, then took him back to his apt., he's called me/PM'ed me dozens of times asking my advice on things, hell, the guy calls me sir at this point. If you were to ask anyone that has dealt with me in classifieds (made and closed a deal, not bickering back and forth) that I am beyond fair, and I have in the past gone way* out of my way to make sure everyone was happy/comfortable with things. the thing about being a white knight is that people are always trying to sling mud on their armor.

like a said before, quag, i don't post in any other forum here, i know better than to get involved in a 'serious' discussion in there, it's like people think they have a license to eviscerate. I posted in chit chat cause that's where the traffic is, that's where 99% of my posts/threads are. if I was always posting in the lounge, I wouldn't be so concerned with how people treat others here, I would be one of the people I am complaining about and would want to stay forever. I do not enjoy proving people wrong, or splitting hairs on political issues, or calling into question other peoples sexuality, masculinity, intelligence, chosen profession, etc. like you do, thus this site does a lot less for me, and provides a whole different set of reasons for posting here. I originally signed up thinking I would meet local ppl my age, with similar interests to make my RL better...that just has not happened, it doesn't help tww's case that my first purchase from tww classifieds was getting ripped off by quagmire02, the dude with the most posts in this thread (8 and counting). go away, dude. really. you win. i don't care.
