^^^ slow and steady wins the race. very few users start using tww and jump right into chit chat. i saw tww in the tunnel in 2001, poked around here and there for months, finally bothered to register in 2002, and didn't even start posting regularly till 2004. i monitor new user engagement, there are definitely new folks here, they just don't post as much. plus, as the years go on, the new generation of users naturally makes up a smaller portion of the tww population as the years before, so it's often harder to see when new folks come on
