Hoffman's Ice Cream in Spring Lake, NJ (Jersey Shore)
I always get a large oreo ice cream with crushed Reese's Cups on top

There was also a Hoffman's Doughnuts at the Jersey Shore, but they closed (and oddly enough, not related to the Hoffman's Ice Cream.)

Mueller's Bakery in Bay Head, NJ (Jersey Shore)
Best coffe cake I've ever had

The Parker House in Sea Girt, NJ (Jersey Shore)
$8.95 fresh whole lobsters every day at the back bar

I'm currently in my hometown, but I support those who mentioned Showmar's, Price's Chicken Coop, Wolfman's Pizza, etc.

La hacienda on eastchester near the mall? It's pretty much heaven to me. We eat there or get take out everytime I'm visiting.

This is not a chain either. There are a few in high point though, and the same dudes have been working at them since I moved to nc. They know my entire family, and they always have christmas cards, birth announcements, etc up from tons of families in high point.

can you believe i lived in high point for 4 years and never ate at the dog house? i need to try it sometime when i'm visiting. mayberrys was a favorite spot too. and yes, i called it b-fac. i refer to it as b-fac, biscuit factory, biscuit fac, bisc fac, the factory. sometimes i just call it "i'm still drunk, let's get biscuits"

Not a food, but man do I miss this and it's coming up this weekend. So fun. I moved to the city when I was like 3 years old and I think we went every year until I moved to NC

I don't miss a single thing about Charlotte. Charleston however... I miss pretty much everything on the menu from Liberty, the cheese plate from Social or Mercato, and the black-eyed pea fritters from Vickery's.

Stupid North and their dumb food...

Madison is also home to the Johnsonville's Brat Fest (the world's largest)

I like Johnsonville's but I must say I prefer Usinger's of Milwaukee
