i know romney is a tool, im just saying he's the most rational of the three choices. gingrich & palin have been saying too many extreme thing that will come back to bite them, while romney has steered clear of national pollicts and is relatively clean
i think though the repulicans need to go with guys like joe miller or the texas governor rick perry who have either a good grasp on the issues or have a commanding yet not extreme presence 9/8/2010 11:07:12 AM |

Quote : | "Some good signs for Palin
PPP's newest batch of 2012 Republican primary polls conducted right before last week's election finds Mitt Romney ahead in the critical early state of Florida, Tim Pawlenty surprisingly weak in his home state of Minnesota, and Sarah Palin posting leads in Texas, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Maine.
The most important state to the nomination process on this list is Florida and there Romney's ahead with 28% to 22% for Palin and 15% for Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee." |
I heard her new reality show starts soon too. Still, I have trouble believing people would actually nominate someone who quit halfway through their term as governor.11/12/2010 3:01:55 AM |

If Palin loses the nomination, and gets tacked on as the vice president to a moderate, it might be a very popular ticket.

The intelligence analysts seemed to want to limit the assessment to a declaration that Cuba 'could' develop such weapons."[40] According to AlterNet, a progressive/liberal activist news service, Bolton attempted to have the chief bioweapons analyst in the State Department's bureau of intelligence and research and the CIA's national intelligence officer for Latin America reassigned. Under oath at his Senate hearings for confirmation as Ambassador, he denied trying to have the men fired, but seven intelligence officials contradicted him.[28]" |

Quote : | "Bolton stated in June 2004 congressional testimony Iran was lying about enriched uranium contamination: "Another unmistakable indicator of Iran's intentions is the pattern of repeatedly lying to ... the IAEA, ... when evidence of uranium enriched to 36 percent was found, it attributed this to contamination from imported centrifuge parts." However, later isotope analysis supported Iran’s explanation of foreign contamination for most of the observed enriched uranium.[43] " |

I agree with Sarah Palin, we shouldn't overreact to the Chinese advances in green energy, just like we didn't overreact to when the USSR launched Sputnik.
I mean, we didn't do anything that time, and just sat back sippin our sodas while the USSR poured resources into their space program and went bankrupt. I love history, and I love how well Sarah Palin knows it. She is a wonderful teacher.
haha, just imagine if we had tried to, I don't know... outdo the USSR's accomplishment with Sputnik. That couldn't have turned out well. We should also apply this logic today, and just watch as China innovates itself out of oil. Certainly that will worsen China's debt problem. The oh-so-bad Chinese debt problem.

"Palin, who? Bachmann steps it up and slips up as 2012 decision nears" http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/03/14/michele.bachmann/index.html
Quote : | "Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is stepping up as yet another favorite daughter of the conservative movement.
She is also looking more and more like a presidential candidate, most recently in her whirlwind swing through the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire. A source tells CNN that the Republican lawmaker is increasingly close to actually announcing a presidential bid.
"It's a momentous decision," she told CNN. "And it's one that I don't take lightly. It will impact the life of our family forever, and mine as well. And so I need to have an inner assurance that this is the right venue for me and the right opportunity at this time to serve the country."
Any Republican vying for the nomination will certainly need to serve up plenty of rhetorical red meat against President Obama to hungry conservatives who are active in the primary voting process. Bachmann has been doing that for a while.
In recent television appearances, political activities and speaking engagements, Bachmann has matched Palin's slams against the president. It appears it's helped her garner her share of affection from conservative activists.
But it remains to be seen whether embarrassing and highly publicized gaffes will affect her presidential chances.
On Saturday, the Minnesota Republican was in full swing in New Hampshire: speaking at a high school academy in Manchester, headlining a fundraiser in Nashua for the state GOP, and capping her day at a Tea Party-type event in Barrington. On Friday night, Bachmann attended a fundraiser at a private home. But her weekend rollout was not without incident.
At the Nashua fundraiser, protesters crashed the carefully choreographed event. And at the earlier engagement in Manchester, Bachmann said of New Hampshire, "You're the state where the shot was heard around the world at Lexington and Concord."
The battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775 were fought in Massachusetts, not New Hampshire.
In the YouTube era, embarrassing moments like those can be replayed over and over with potentially damaging effect -- especially given other gaffes from Bachmann. She recently raised eyebrows with her comments on the nation's founding fathers and slavery. And she was mocked for appearing to look off camera during her post-State of the Union Tea Party response." |

I'm not familiar with the daily currant. Is it real, or is it like the onion? This can't be real. (Ok, just looked into it more, and it appears to be fake news):
http://dailycurrant.com/2013/10/23/sarah-palin-claims-jesus-celebrated-easter/
Quote : | ""It makes me so gosh darn angry," Palin explained. "The liberal left in this country has targeted Christian holidays and is trying to secularize them right out of existence.
"When Jesus celebrated Easter with his disciples there were no Easter bunnies or egg hunts. There were no Easter sales at department stores or parades in the street. Easter was a special time of prayer and Christian activism.
"Jesus would gather all the townspeople around and would listen to their stories about the meaning of Easter in their lives. Then he would teach them how to love one another, how to protest Roman abortion clinics and how to properly convert homosexuals.
"You can't even do things like that these days without getting called out by some wacko left-wing human rights group. Christians had more freedom under Roman rule than we do now in our own country! We need to return Easter back to the way it was when Jesus was alive."" |
