That is sad that I remember seeing that. I couldn't tell you anything about beauty pageants, but I do remember being stuck watching it in 1991 because my sisters wanted to watch. I watched the end of it and was like, "WTF? The ugliest woman left just won!?!?"

I wouldn't have even known about the Miguel Batista comment had it not been for someone posting the story in another forum. I don't follow baseball, or beauty pageants.
