It's quite simple. Where you see God in references across cultures I see occultic deception. Isn't the Kabbalah considered apocrypha by the mainstream Jews.

That's like me taking the Book of Enoch as truth from God.

Who is the author of the Kabbalah and when was it written?

If it's a collection of Jewish ritual, which I believe it is, how do you know it is not influenced by people who worshiped, Dagon, Baal, Chemosh etc.

I've never read the Kabbalah, so I can't really create an opinion on it. I have however read the Book of Enoch and what I realized was though certain aspects of it seemed true, it was still tainted by what appeared to be slight deception. I'm rather wary of Holy texts that are excluded from the Bible, but it's difficult to decide if anything should be added because the Roman Catholic Church had much influence on what went in and what went out.

I do greatly appreciate you explaining the viewpoint of many Jews, especially ones that are well-versed in the subject.

What does the Torah have included in it that's not in the OT?

Kabbalah is not a single book, it is more of a path that is composed of multiple texts, most notable the Zohar written by Moses de Leon in 13th century Spain.

The Torah is the first 5 books of the Hebrew Bible (Genesis-Deuteronomy). The Hebrew Bible also contains the Prophets (Joshua, Jonah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, etc) and the Writings (lamentations, psalms, ruth, esther, etc)

In Hebrew, the sections are called Torah, Nevi'im, and K'tuvim, creating the acronym Tanakh which is what we call the whole text.
