Don't know but I remember from elementary school that "dr pepper rules" in poker meant 10, 2, and 4 were wild.

"What does 10-2-4 mean?
Those well-known Dr Pepper numbers of 10, 2 and 4 weren’t selected at random. They represent the times of day when the human body needs a little “pick-me-up” to avoid an energy slump.

It was in the 1920s that Dr. Walter Eddy at Columbia University studied the body’s metabolism. He discovered that a natural drop in energy occurs about 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. But he also discovered that if the people in his research study had something to eat or drink at 10, 2 and 4, the energy slump could be avoided.

After Dr. Eddy’s research findings were released, Dr Pepper challenged its advertising agency to come up with a theme which would suggest that Dr Pepper should be that 10, 2 and 4 drink which would keep the energy level up. The result was one of the most enduring of Dr Pepper’s advertising themes: Drink a bite to eat at 10, 2 and 4.

Today, just those numbers 10-2-4 suggest it’s time for a Dr Pepper!"

I don't drink much soda...I prefer sweet tea when it comes to sugary beverages. But Cheerwine is the tits. Coke is good too.

its horrible. you have to train yourself to like it. after you drink it for a few days you get used to it and forget how horrible it is. but then you can NEVER drink regular again. which is what always kills me. once i take ONE SIP of a regular then i have to train myself all over again

I've been drinking the 'throwback' mtn dew and pepsi, they are pretty yummy with the real sugar. Usually would have gone for Coke or Mello Yello

i gave up regular soda for awhile and dropped 10lbs in like a few weeks

but now i drink a soda every now and then. usually i try to go diet, but i don't really like coke and a lot of places don't have diet mtn dew. i figure if it is in moderation then i'm ok.

but it is seriously my crack. its easy for me to give up things like ice cream, cookies, chocolate, cake, candy, etc cause i don't like those things very much anyway. soda is my addiction. i think i've done pretty well taming it

I love the new lime distortion mountain dew flavor
but I'm pretty sure last time I checked it was the least popular out of the three flavors
so I doubt it'll stick around

yeah, soda is my weakness. I can't drink diet because I'm allergic to aspartame. But I'd rather be thin than drink sugar

I've heard studies about this, but I didn't believe it until now.
Apparently the fake sugars that are found in diet sodas make people overeat.
I didn't believe it, until I stopped drinking diet sodas for awhile and my urge to eat went down considerably.
So now I'm drinking mainly regular sodas, but I want to cut down to one a day or less.

Soda is my addiction too now. I used to not even drink it much but now I can't stand to drink anything that's not soda because I miss the carbonation.

yea i typically drink regular, because i clearly like things like mello yello with no diet. but i do one every few days and i'm satisfied with that. well not really, i'd love to drink one a day but i feel like that will just fuel my addiction. so then i'll be like "oh well its just 2 a day"

and then i'll be back to drinking like 5 a day.

but i'm proud of myself if i go every other day or every 2 days w/ no soda. lol.

lol, yeah I meant other than 50 dollar ebay six packs from 2005.

There was this gas station back in 07-08 that must have stocked up on syrup because they carried it in the fountain for some time after it was discontinued.
