My husband told me that he loved me the first time we had sex. That was like 2 years into knowing one another and before we even started dating. I told him "Aww, that's nice." and got the face from him.

And then we had to have a conversation about appropriate use of the L word.

I said the L word to Eric around 2 months. Looking back on it.. I think it was just my way of expressing that I was starting to fall in love with him. I can say as an adult I was nowhere near as in love with him then as I am now. But I'm ok with that, because obviously it worked out but I definitely agree with bmel... Step up to the plate instead of thinking that saying "I love you" (and that's it) will suffice. Also, I don't think a time limit should be put on it... when the person's ready to say it, and express it, they will. Not everyone will be that confident within a few days, weeks, months..

Meh, this is BS. women can be just as susceptible to momentary frustrations as men. Women also have just as much temptation as men, and could probably find a willing partner more quickly.

We know by now that simply being a woman, she can have sex with pretty much any dude in and out of her league. Therefore, it's not really challenging for a girl to find exactly the right guy and marry up. Now, we have a bunch of relationships where the girl is perfectly happy and the man settles for what he thinks is the best he can get. As time wears on, men become unsatisfied.

The only way I'd be able to stay in a relationship is if I got to pick the girl I wanted to be with and not the other way around. But most of the girls I like enough to stay with forever, just arent naturally interested in me.
