I have it on preorder, but I guess it really depends on how much you want to play it. If you can wait 6 months, I'm sure there will be a sale on it somewhere, particularly on black friday.

I'm still pissed about the XBOX version going on sale on amazon for like 91 dollars one day (with the keyboard)

I should have ordered that since I have an XBOX, but I would rather have it for Wii cause I know a lot of people online to play with

and Wii is less competitive so there's a better chance for high scores

I wouldn't worry about it. I have the xbox and saw that $91 seller and I wouldn't have bought it. The guy had like a 91% feedback score and probably got confused between the keyboard bundle and the keyboard by itself.

so i just found out that RB3 has a controller with six strings and 21 frets that requires you to actually play the real parts and functions as an actual guitar

it's one thing to have RB guitar parts that are much more difficult than playing the song on a real guitar

As someone who has been trying to learn for a few years now it could possibly help, but i think i'd rather just save my money and keep learning the normal way on my les paul. I do like how the game will just give you a chord and you have to know how to play it without the game giving you the shape of the chord or anything like that.

If you're having a party and someone picks a song without keyboard....what happens?

Currently all songs have bass, lead, drums, and vocals...

got this for christmas and haven't stopped playing. keyboard is realllly fun. just wish all the songs i've downloaded in the past automatically had it's part. was also surprised to learn pro drums works with just two cymbals which i already had for some reason...
