You'd have to pay me $yourmom in order to even consider taking the tickets off your hands.

so correct me if i'm wrong about this

but don't almost all tickets (have the same "face" value)? I.e. 50 yd line front row listed same as end zone? The diff is that the 50 yd line peeps give way more to WPC for right to buy those tickets.

this changes the game when selling tix

when you are bitching about someone charging over face, consider that they prob gave a not insignificant amount in WPC club dues, plus maybe the cost for LTR's. If they sell at face, they are taking a loss

I don't see why anyone has a problem with someone getting as much money as they can for selling their tickets

i couldn't sell my Cincy tix until the very last second for half than face value

people tried to shop around for deals after they confirmed with me too

mother fuckers

we'll probably get stomped by VT and then I won't be able to sell my BC tickets when I have to go to a wedding

i think i have more or less of a problem depending on the situation

maybe this makes me a socialist, but it drives me crazy when people buy tickets to something sold out as an "investment". it seems like a small example of a problem with capitalism in that a middle man inflates the value of a commodity even though their contributions add nothing to the commodity.

similar to why people get mad when students sell their tickets

I am looking for 4 to that game, so please PM me if you are serious. I will make sure you make some money, but I am not an idiot either.

FYI, a true fan would sell them at face value as long as they are to another true fan. That's what the folks in the Hokie Club do.

If the alternative is him selling them to a VT fan for $texas, I'd rather he sell them to an NCSU fan for $texas.

you can't really compare it to selling student tickets as you don't directly pay any money for the tickets and pretty much no effort goes into getting them now. Not to mention it's prohibited anyways.

Well depend on where it is that could be pretty retarded, considering you can drive right up to the TX lot and pay $20 to park there.

please don't sell them to a vt fan. if you do, you won't only be selling your tix, you'd also be a sellout, period.

Isn't the entire point of buying season tickets to be able to actually ATTEND games like this?

Seems like a huge dick move that rather than being there to experience and support your team in what might be the defining game of the season, you'd rather pocket ~100 bucks and sit at home lime the rest if us. In the grand scheme of things you aren't buying season tickets to make money anyway are you?

^did he say he was just going to be sitting at home? pretty sure he's going out of town

i've got season tickets and i missed a game this year for an unavoidable out of town trip...

this is the bigger point for me. you don't sell your tickets to the opponent. otherwise it's all supply and demand.

exactly, I've got a family reunion type situation brewing in Virginia and I won't be able to make it to this game, and this game only. Fucking noobs around here need to learn how to read a thread.

UPDATE: Tickets are being sold to a NCSU student at $5 above face, $240 for the four. AND, that means I'm basically losing money. Looking to cash in on some karma down the road...

who cares. highest bidder gets it.

not like 4 VT fans way out in 218 are going to make some kind of difference.

that said, i would give NCSU fans every opportunity to be the highest bidder.

dunno where thats from but its old cause NC changed their laws a year or two ago

i don't know how i feel about people selling TX lot parking passes on StubHub and craigslist for 50-90 dollars when you can walk into the ticket office and buy one for $20

How come this pro-socialist opinion only comes out when tickets are selling for more than face value? I didn't hear anyone two weeks ago* saying true fans should pay face value when buying Cincy tickets for less than face value.

*Not in any way actually directed at motionpics84, who bought my Cincy tickets, and I hope he had fun at the game. I was just glad someone got to use 'em.
