Shaving annoys me, and I work in tech support--so no one expects me to be clean shaven. Therefore I shave about twice a week. Any more seldom than that, and it starts looking terrible as opposed to mildly bad. And it starts annoying my gf which is probably more important.

absolutely hate shaving. if I don't do it JUST right (probably a good 25 - 30 minute process), I'll get razor bumps, ingrown hairs, etc....

I've abandoned a straight blade, and even an electric razor.

I don't mind shaving that much, but I still don't do it often enough. I normally only remember it when I first wake up or when I'm going to bed... but my normal morning routine is "ohshit I have class in 30 minutes, need to hurry" and my normal bedtime routine is "ohshit it's 5 AM, I really need to get to sleep right now"... I really need to get into the routine of shaving after a shower.

I have the sandpaper facial hair and DUDE, it is CRUCIAL to shave while the facial hair is waterlogged. I'm talkin like 5 minutes into a hot shower, THEN its ready. After the shower, gotta apply the Eucerin or wake up with 10-100 white pustules the next day that might come back as angry and swollen welts if you pop em.

I have a mirror in the shower, it fogs up like any normal mirror, just rub a film of soap on it with your hand and its good and clear as long as you don't work up tiny bubbles rubbing it on.

I have no real problem with shaving except all my razor blades have decided they are going to break at the clip-on point in the last few weeks while I am in the middle of a shower and have a full leg coated in shaving cream so I can't easily get out to get another one.

Yeah, it is annoying, but necessary.

I should shave every day. But now I only shave on Mondays and Thursdays. I can get away with it more now because I grew a beard. So I only have to shave my upper cheeks and neck so I don't look homeless. Then I use a beard trimmer ever week or two.


But the beard gets annoying too sometimes. I shave it clean and start over every few months.

i don't mind it too much. i have a pretty good system going on now. shaving in the shower makes a world of difference and i also only shave a small portion of my face (neck area) and keep a short beard.
