The secondary got killed on big plays and we were lucky on several drops that would of been big plays. If the WRs didnt have butterfingers on several of those plays. VT was shooting themselves in the foot with drops all day.

Also, our DL got exposed (though, it has happened in every 4th quarter except the first game), they cant stop shit in the 4th quarter.....we were exposed last year when they ran all over us and they did the same this time around.

All those PI calls against them, better 15yds instead of 30yds....

The game was over when when held on the Greene run at the end, 1st and 20.....that is when we lost the game.

There is no way we beat FSU and it will be tough to beat UNC (they have the WRs to kill us and the running game, plus the DL will be back, beside Marvin probably).

Just took one extra game before the implosion starts like last year.....oh well, always basketball season...hahahahaha (that is UNC's saying and at least it means something).

Maybe, just maybe, we go to the Tire Bowl?

Our secondary really didn't play that bad. Why do people keep mentioning it? We got beat on defense because we couldn't tackle the RB and Taylor, and Taylor kept breaking free when he should have been sacked.

And the source of our offense sucking was the OL sucking. 3 guys in the backfield on almost every running play, and Russell never had time to throw. That made him try to force things that weren't there against a pretty decent secondary (who liked to commit PI)

Now, back to the point of the thread.

Those refs were fucking terrible, how do you never call holding?

You think I got that way after just one game? I upgraded my 2 win prediction to a 4 win season a few days before the first game, so we've already lived up to my vaulted expectations. I got that way after watching several seasons.

We really aren't that good, or if we are decent we aren't anywhere near being consistent enough to make something of it. That's just who we are.

Well I had us at 8-4 before the season and if my picks hold true we will be 9-3 which will put us in a nice bowl game so Im still feeling pretty good
