1) Do i need to talk to them right now? yes -> call them; no ->2
2) are they probably asleep? yes -> call tomorrow; no-> call them.

also documentation of communication is the absolute worst.

If someone asks you to do something over the phone, then theres no record of it and its the same as if it never happened.

If I need someone to do something, I put it in writing. Otherwise it will never happen. Documentation of communication is the absolute best!

well yea, if you're the one needing work done then sure. but if you're the workee, avoid documentation at all costs.

if someone calls and it turns out to be a survey, I just make funny noises for about 2 mins before they just hang up.

people who I know very well I usually answer their call "yea" instead of "hello". A lot of the time i dont say goodbye either, i just hang up when someone says ok to signify the end of the conversation.

I prefer texting.

sometimes, talking to people on the phone, they just sit there and wait...
