I won't say "never" but I think it's gonna have to be pretty special circumstances for me to consider it again. I think I'm to the point that I really do enjoy flying solo...too much I haven't personally done in life that I want to have the freedom to do.

^ you just have to find someone that wants to do the same things you want to do and then do them together.

There is no way someone would want to love me and my kids equally so prob no.
I also have tattoos representing him so prob no.

I love companionship so much but I have come to peace with these realizations.

It's funny, I used to think about marriage like a lot of you do now.

The fact is, if you love someone enough to get married, then you aren't expecting it to fail. If you go into it thinking it will fail, you're an idiot and will probably sabotage your relationship.

If you don't click, or enjoy the things you do together more than enjoying your freedom as a single person... then this isnt the person for you. When you prefer sitting at home or even stuck in traffic with the significant other more than partying your ass off with your friends... then you might have something.

Jeff's got some good points...hell, a lot of my marriage was like that, though. It wasn't bad, really...and there are a lot of days I actually miss her. We were both pretty immature, and a lot of bad shit went down.

But love isn't all it takes.

No, you're still a dumbass for getting officially married.

If you are going to be together and love each for real, then you should be able to stay together and love each other for the rest of your life without government involvement.

No third party should tell you when you are and aren't married. You and the person you marry should decide that. You shouldn't have to pay anybody to get married. You shouldn't have to fill out paperwork to get married. You shouldn't have to do none of that bs.

Marriage shouldn't be work. It should be natural.

And hey, if you fall out of love. Guess what?! No hassle! Both say Goodbye, it was nice knowing ya!

well, see, I'm not a little bitch about things. The government hooks us up with obvious benefits, and i'm not afraid of a divorce... so... you know.

wow, you obviously haven't ever had any serious relationship (married or not). Are you a virgin?

yep. we didn't need the government to tell us we were committing our lives to each other, but since we are we might as well take advantage of it .
