That's part of the problem though... so many TSA people aren't all that professional and barely remember their training beyond what it takes to not get fired.

I'm just glad that, as a dude, I can ignore it if I absolutely have to. The pilot's union advises the pilots to avoid scans for health reasons. Although, I'd imagine that's probably a lot like why the x-ray techs always leave the room when doing a scan on a patient. It's probably not too bad unless you do it on a daily basis.

They can hike up this sham of security (or as somebody else so nicely put it, security theatre) but until they do the same thing with the cargo going into airports, it's a giant waste of time, money, effort, and not to beat a dead horse, but also a big ol' invasion of passenger privacy. I say they just give the pilots and co-pilots weapons. Train the flight crew on tasers (yea I know there's all the drama with people dying, but srsly, if you're going to scream and yell on a plane and try to take it over, your ass can get shocked.).
