My Birthday is tomorrow so my Birthday list and Christmas list are always combined.

I asked for:

Sookie Stackhouse box set (books)
New bowling ball
Fuzzy slippers
Pandorum and Sex and the City 2 DVDs
Weighted hula hoop (got that for myself)
Dance Dance Revolution for PS3

And maybe... a diamond tennis bracelet.

I think that's about it.

A few dvds. That's about it. I still have untouched games and books from last year (not for a lack of interest). And if all goes well next semester not only will I still be a full time grad student, but also employed on a full time basis.

As I get older I've found that the best gift would be...

The gift of not having to walk up and down a mall for hours wondering what to get someone. I guess it would be nice to hang on to some sort of tradition though.

A new UZJ100 land cruiser and accessories.
and to finally get that MSC SNG XL folder I've been waiting on for 2 years.

but really, no thing is gonna make me happy. maybe just to meet a cool girl would be nice.

leather gloves (i think i’m a 9-10)
another scarf
gilla skin for computer
hard case for computer (clear)
yellow toe socks (black regular socks, white regular and ankle socks)
silicon case for phone
contacts (i have a script at Eye Care Associates on Roxboro, a copy of it in Greensboro)
decent pair of comfortable brown leather shoes (for school and nicer dress occasions
GT5
another usb cable for the phone (type U4)
waffle iron (flip type)
cast iron reversible griddle for a flat stove
bath robe"

not expecting the last 2, or the first one, but more than one person has mentioned the coat to me as something that i may need soooo (people that give me gifts)

not asking for much as this year is kinda tight, i use all the things i got last year constantly

I definitely have a different view point as I think it's fun to think of things that the person needs/would want and get it for them. I'm not really expecting much of anything from other people for Christmas, doesn't mean it's not fun to find something for them.

don't have one this year. GF and I are doing 1 small gift only each this year since we're both strapped for cash and I haven't given her any suggestions (she generally chooses well on her own). My parents get me whatever they feel like, all of it usually small and practical. And, other than a couple of family members who consistently send money (which is nice) not exchanging gifts with anyone else.

Ideally/if I were expecting something nice this year? A new camera (Canon Powershot S95 or SX30IS, or money-no-object a Rebel T2i or better yet EOS 7D), PS3 with Gran Turismo 5, 40" or so LED TV, a watch, a new suit, car detailing, a new set of irons (golf clubs)...I could go on. Not getting any of it though, for Christmas or otherwise.
