i get y'all's point...but they're not all "get a coupon you can only use if you spend twice as much)...for example, if it's $20 for a $50 coupon and you have to spend $75, you're spending $4 + $75 - $50 = $29 for $75 worth of food (so 61% off)...so okay, my title isn't entirely representative of the end result, but 61% off is better than any percentage-off coupon you're going to find, especially for non-chains (and likely better than any groupon)

i'm also fairly sure that some of them have minimums equal to the coupon price, but i could be wrong (and i don't care enough to check)

^^you are buying food with a discount off of a price that is above market value... why do you think nobody goes to the restaurant and they are forced to use this site to bring people in?

You are paying to get your food at market price from a restaurant that would otherwise be out of business.

the 90% deal actually made it worth my wile though.

That is correct and the reason why they have to overcharge for their food. So we are paying to get a discount on overpriced food. Congrats.
