Side question for the ladies, how would a guy in a wheelchair or a midget change things? Obviously most girls would be taller than a midget. With a guy in a wheelchair (not necessarily paralyzed, but maybe with weak legs or something), you wouldn't necessarily be taller than him but you'd still be looking down at him all the time.

I'm not attracted to midgets and I don't see that ever happening. In terms of someone in a wheelchair, I probably wouldn't find myself starting a relationship with someone who was in one because doing active things together is pretty high on my list of things I enjoy in a relationship. But if my boyfriend wound up in one it wouldn't make me automatically less attracted to him because of the height difference it created.

I'm 6'2", and my girlfriend during college was 5'11"/6', which was great. That said, it'd be a little weird to find a girl who was taller than me...I'm not sure it would make that much difference dating, but I'd feel just a little defeated in life.

At 5'10" I would be okay with it up to about 6'--anything taller than that and the girl generally starts looking odd. Though it can be intimidating; I can think of one girl that I was interested in back in my undergrad days who was about 6' and the height factor was one of a number of things that eventually added up to me not ever being able to ask her out. (She was also older than me and potentially a little out of my league, and I had very little confidence back then)

My current girlfriend is about 5'5" which is about perfect--not so short that she can't reach anything, not taller than me even in heels.

The only annoying thing about dating a shorter guy is when he wants to spoon and his toenails dig into the back of your legs.

Oddly, every time I've dated a guy who was shorter than me or exactly my height, he always wanted me to wear 5-inch spike heels.

@ 5'2", I have never dated a girl or guy shorter than I am.

The tallest girl I've been with was around 5'10" and my husband is the tallest guy I've been with at 6'5".
