ThePeter and I have done this before. To two roommates. We simply talked to our roommates to try and reason with them about what they were doing that was fucking up our place and when that didn't work we talked to the landlord and asked him to not renew the lease. We had already found two new tenants to replace them, which definitely helped our case.

Meh, I've had equal problems with girls than guys.

And in GENERAL, girls clean a lot better than boys. Not to say that I haven't been around some disgusting girl roommates...on average, guys will let bathrooms and kitchens get much nastier than girls were.

The first fight we had was a yelling match, then the couple of times after that I kept my cool completely. I told her I really wish we could find a way to fix our problems and be friends. This threw her over the deep end. She started shouting, I kept talking softly and using kind words, and she just got more and more pissed off until she trampled into her room and slammed the door. It gave me a moment of joy that I was able to get to her like that, but it didn't help anything.

I've already been thinking about this. I have people I know I want to live with next year but it depends in which part of town they want to be. If we decide to keep this place, I'll have no problem getting rid of this girl (the landlord even told me how much he can't stand her).

Another alternative would be to just cancel the cable service and then act like you don't know what happened. I'd imagine she'd try to get you to call them up... at which point you make up some lie that they won't let you re-open an acct b/c of bad credit. This makes you the victim... the cable company the scape goat and forces her to put the acct in her name, at which point you can mention you don't want cable anyway.

I know this is a "bitch" solution but it doesn't sound like you are going to try any of the direct approaches.

The last time I lived with girls was about 4 years ago, and we had the whole Internet vs. Netflix debate over email. I got tired of this and just had the cable guy come out and run a new line to our house in my name. They started using the Internet and paid me. Done.
