I saw the Bud Dwyer suicide live when I was a kid. Not long after that my Uncle Ernie killed himself with a shotgun. Since then, I've had a two friend's who have shot themselves. I've tried so hard to understand but I never will.

Word is dude had terminal cancer and decided to end it his way. His wife was out of town visiting some relatives and he did it outside so she wouldn't have to deal with the house being fucked up and needing to be cleaned.

I bet she moves though. I wouldn't be able to live there and walk out to my car every morning right to the spot where he blew his brains out.

Lots of people kill themselves by jumping off that bridge. The director did time lapse photography over a very long period of time and then just condensed it. There's probably more info about this movie on the internet if you're curious.

A lot of that stuff was not time lapse, mostly hand operated. Who ever was the camera operator was pretty good at tracking using such a long lens. Plus that last one with the long hair fella, was captured from both sides of the bridge.

I really think the story of that photographer grabbing that jumper was probably the craziest story, specially since it was captured on video.
