People assume that they flew into a stationary object, but they could also have been struck by something flying into them....right?

Also, why were they flying at 11 PM at night....these birds sleep at night.

that could be true too, but im thinking that if they were all flying in a tight group and got hit by an airplane that some of them would be in pieces from the propeller or jet engine

they were probably poisoned, its not an uncommon thing to see when birds start messing with food for livestock

That's specifically what they tested for...poisons, etc.

The tests came up negative.
