I feel like some people don't understand that this is not a thread to suggest random hot sauces.
These people are going on a list.
It is not a good list. 1/4/2011 2:26:53 AM

Sriracha is a versatile and wonderful thing. There is a large quantity of it in my kitchen currently.
And, yes, you can get it almost anywhere. I have seen/purchased it at Teeter, Food Lion, and Kroger at various times. Plus of course any asian market worth their salt soy sauce. 1/4/2011 8:49:44 AM

I love all hot sauces, but my go to is always texas pete
I will admit, different sauces have different benefits for cooking, and I like different ones better with different foods, but in a pinch, I always go to good ol TP 1/4/2011 11:01:19 AM

Attempting a simplified buffalo wing using it tonight. I found a recipe that supposedly doesn't require frying, which is good because I don't have a frier.
Also bought a small thing of the chili garlic sauce Fumbler mentioned last page, under the theory that anything the good people at this company make will be delicious.
It's funny how desensitized I've become to the spiciness. I guess I was kind of lame at first and could only use a little but now I find myself smothering things in it.
I recommend yet again mixing it in equal parts with honey. The sweet/spicy combo is good for dipping stuff, and the other night I covered some shrimp in the mixture before grilling and found the final product delicious. 1/6/2011 5:03:34 PM

I guess I feel ... plebeian or something if I put the same condiment on everything given the fact that I do really appreciate good food and a variety of flavors.
But I can't change the fact that it does make everything better.

My bottle is probably going to last over a year since the only thing I put it in is ramen. And even then it's not that much, I like to have various flavors in my ramen so I throw in about 1/2 the pack of oriental, some teryaki sauce, some garlic powder, and some hot sauce.
Add an egg, some meat (of almost any kind), mushrooms, red cabbage, top with green onions when it's done cooking...
OMG I'm really hungry now.

I am in the "this stuff goes on EVERYTHING" camp. It had a staring roll in my lunch on pizza and in my dinner as part of an asian sauce for my broccoli that then went over a baked potato. Yum.
Has anyone found a good dessert use for this sauce? I am still looking.... 4/5/2011 6:33:22 PM
