sprint has annual upgrades iirc. The NE2 discount is a moot point if you do an annual upgrade so it'll probably end up just driving people to pay the $40-$70 more that's required for a 1 yr contract and then you can just upgrade every 10 months.]

I hate we are losing the AU but itll be fine with the phones coming out just like when we dropped the ne2 down $20.

^^sprint doesn't have annual upgrade.

I wouldn't switch to Verizon. I have ATT and get great service where I am. Verizon customer service is by far the worse I have ever encountered. In 50% of the months I had verizon, they could not bill me correctly. I could not even pay on the their damn online billing.Good technology does not make up for shit ass customer service. Anything I can do to minimize contact with them is hours saved from my life.

^ Eh, I've heard the exact opposite about Verizon customer service :\Sprint customer service sucks balls though

I have sprint and upgraded my phone this summer...then like 3 months later I was eligible for another upgrade lolI'm gonna wait a few months, but I think I'm gonna go with a droid.

^^ I also switched from Nextel to Verizon several years ago, and go an LG phone, then upgraded to the LG Voyager, then the Blackberry Storm (which I have now). What problems did you have with the Voyager?? I went through 4 of them and upgraded to my BB (which this is my 5th one). Grrr!

Ever since I switched from Booty Meat to Titty Balls my reception has been shit. When my contract is up I'll probably switch back.
1/12/2011 1:53:26 AM
you should always stick with titty balls

I've had an excellent history with AT&T, but then again I also happen to know more about my phone than either tech support or the guy who sold me the phone.[Edited on January 12, 2011 at 2:07 AM. Reason : 21612]

Yeah, Sprint Premier has 12 month upgrades over 22 month.

They are doing away with the annual upgrade for a 2 year contract and no more free credit will be given out. But those who already have it will be grandfathered in.

When did the no upgrade thing start? If we signed up last week will we be included still?
1/12/2011 5:17:46 PM
starts on the 16th, so I imagine you should still be good.
1/12/2011 5:20:08 PM
i'm getting one, guess i'll have to start text messaging
1/12/2011 6:31:45 PM
i still think it is dangerous for you to have a phone worth more than anything you can get from a kiddy vending machine in front of the grocery store
1/12/2011 6:42:59 PM
i havent really lost a phone in a very long time
