Yeah, I'm still running barefoot, but mostly in the Vibram Fivefingers. I ran a half marathon in them today, actually--training for the LA Marathon coming up in March. I hope at some point you'll be clear to run again and can do so without pain; the barefoot running thread was what inspired me to give it a shot in the first place.

Jeepin4x4, Joe loves the Frye boots you helped him pick out. So much in fact that he bought another pair last year. They look sharp as hell, and he's been kind enough to let me sport them when I've gone out before. You two have very good taste

sumfoo1, Joe is doing awesome. So awesome that he just had a cough/sneeze combo and didn't cover his mouth quick enough, and shot out a huge wad of boogers deep from within his lungs across the room and landed somewhere in the kitchen

Fhqwhgads, we're living in GA, and were going to fly out to CA to visit his parents on Friday for a week or so, but we canceled our flights until we feel better.

I've been trying to get a grasp on this for a while, and frankly, I'm perplexed. Joe has gone thru more than his fair share of ailments, and we all wish him nothing but the best. But what's your role here? You're his roommate, and from what I gather, his friend, so communicating with us on his behalf is understandable and benevolent. You're watching movies with him all day, presumably during the work week. You're flying out together, across the country, to see his parents. You even share shoes. I guess I'm just wondering whether this is just a particularly close friendship...or something else entirely.
