HPV will not give you warts. it does nothing to males except they become the "carrier" and can give it to women.

technically it's approved for ages 9 and up. insurance will cover it between the ages of 9-26 but if you're older than 26, you can still get the shot but you'd just have to pay out of pocket.

most sexually active people have had hpv at some point in their life....its almost a non issue, especially for men. The vaccine is only even effective with a few of the 30+ strains.

Even if you've already been diagnosed with HPV it's still worth getting the vaccine. You'll be immunized against the strains you don't already have and when your body clears the strain you do have (anywhere from six months to a couple years if you don't keep getting re-infected), you won't get that strain again. It's just a bitch getting it covered under insurance if you're over 26.

You know what the HPV test is for guys?

Doctor: How many sexual partners have you had?
Guy: More than ten.
Doctor: You have HPV.
