Wake EMS system is GPS based and if that ambulance was heading back from Rex and was the closest one when the call went out, it's responding, regardless of whether it's Eastern Wake's, Wake County's, or Cary's response area. One episode had them repo a motorcycle, but the guy was blocking their truck in his driveway so they had to drive on the yard. Thanks to the dew on the grass, you could see several tire tracks from previous takes. It's fake, but it provides some laughs.
