I remember years ago when Garner & Raleigh PD used to use ICQ to chat between officers.
They used ICQ because of the setting where you had to approve someone before they could
message you. Only one I use these days is GChat.

Haven't used AIM since middle school...but I never used it a whole lot even then. Facebook is pretty much the extent of my online messaging.
