i don't really count insurance, because I think by having that net in place, and providing that peace of mind, i am using it.

I didn't say that they did nothing for me.

I just meant that there are specific things my tax money goes toward that don't benefit me directly. Obviously I understand the value of plenty of the things my tax money supports.

just cable, I use netflix/hulu/torrents and I never watch cable except for the Today Show in the morning. for about an hour.
