I don't understand the whole "being in the office" Its 2011, you can do work anywhere.

These places with people who are out once per week? If you're the boss, you need to fire those motherfuckers. If you're not, and it's paid absence, you need to be sick on most Fridays and the occasional Monday, or maybe Wednesday (just to break the work week up...for your health).
