In short...yes. This happens all the time. The owner skims cash which then:
- Does not get reported as revenue, therefore the bar isn't taxed on the sale.
- Does not get reported as income, therefore the bar owner isn't taxed when he pays himself.
- This money can be used to fund illicit activities without creating a paper trail.
- By being unreported, the owner can generate positive income for himself while showing a loss for tax/bankruptcy purposes and to his investors.

In many cases the owner will create a second set of books. So, while saving thousands in taxes and stashing undocumented money away he can then offer his business for sale and show potential buyers the real finances of the business. One of my neighbors used to regularly visit a friend in one of those country club prisons who got put away for doing just that with a coin operated car wash business. He screwed over a potential buyer who notified the IRS and they set up a sting where they acted as a potential buyer.


I'm not in any way implying that The Goat owner is doing that. Just saying that it is quite common.

Its the Goat. I'd be surprised if they had a safe at all. I'd just assume they keep the money loose in the same drawer as the toilet paper and urinal cakes.

Dude tried to hit O'Malley's too last friday night and failed because their bathroom ceilings aren't set up for any anne-frankery

And there was evidence that he had tried to jack up our safe but that little thing is a beast and it's lagged to the foundation

that's what youre supposed to do with little safes... I have 2 safes- one is 400lb's by itself (not including are the firearms and ammo stored in it), so it is pretty safe from a smash and grab. My other one is about the size of 1.5-2 shoe boxes and it is bolted down throw the floor into the frame of my truck. That sumbitch aint going nowhere!

they just opened up the Bison down the street from me. While i was checking the place out they were installing cameras ABOVE the ceilings. good idea
