I'm glad Humber is finding some success. Sucks that he had TJ a year in to his career but he seems to be serviceable now.

Morel and Beckham will improve given their age, but it's not like Gordon has some long track record that he should align with. Guy OPS+'d 86 last year, not even close to league average. And Morel is a rook who has a ~.830 minor league OPS and never really played above his expected age level.

Rios/Dunn will be fine...

Beckham started off horrible last year but posted above average numbers post-All star. He's got some sort of mental problem, though. Morel can hit the other way very successfully but I'd still take Gordon's power over him. His glove is a little questionable, too.

Rios ...

Dunn will turn it around.

Ridiculous that you're 10.5 games out on May 4th. I don't think Kenny would fire Ozzie mid-season, but who knows. He's one the best GM's in the game and not intimidated by Guillen in the least.

if only we had been able to pick up a big bat in the offseason, say an adam dunn type, then this wouldn't be an issue.
