GrumpyGOP...pretty much right on the money. Maybe about 5 years earlier than that...but for a few different reasons.

Some of the most dramatic leaps were made in the '30s and '40s in aviation and automotive industries, and I'd like to have been in the midst of all of it. Some of my favorite hobbies were in their heyday as well (model airplanes, ham radio, then on to automotive performance in the '50s).

I'd have gotten to experience a lot of the emergence and maturation of jazz, big band, twelve-bar blues, and the birth of rock and roll.

I really was born about 50 years too late.

you kidding? it is way easier to do it these days... I think the real difference is that a woman will actually leave your ass for doing this these days
