it wasn't just the "older generation" that thought the show was bad; EVERYONE thought the show was bad.

point taken...people from all walks of life, all ages, and all regions of the united states and canada thought the show was bad. not everyone, but most people, many of them young.

I think they need some help with topical humor. I saw the bit about Osama with the fish and mermaids last week and it was beyond awful. That's the area where Tina Fey really shined where she was still on the show, but she blew it big time last week.

except for the fact that Kristen Wiig is already overexposed on SNL. FFS, they have other female cast members. Use them so that the 2-3 things Wiig does well don't get run into the ground like they already have been

The reason Wiig is "overexposed" is because she's the only woman on there right now who's worth a damn

Abby Elliot fat?? I'd like to know what you're looking at that I'm not seeing. She's more cute than funny (from what I've seen) but Pedrad is solid. Vanessa is more suited for improv than SNL to this point.
